A Family Business

Interstate Construction is a general contracting company started in 1973 by Carl Lambert. During the lean times of the 1970's, Carl found himself frequently travelling along the highways of Virginia to find and secure contracts for his new company. During his travels he came to the conclusion that with all the traveling he might as well call his company "Interstate Construction."

Now, 38 years later, Interstate Construction is still traveling the highways bringing our customers quality work at a fair price.

Interstate Construction is now, with Carl’s three sons joining him, a true family owned and operated business. We have taken the foundation that our father started along with his business philosophies: treat customers honestly and fairly, work hard and give thanks to God for the increase, and are continuing to this day. It is our desire to continue to build on the principles that have been instilled in us since we were children and to allow God, with our hard work, to take us to new heights.
